Which agency creates textbooks for O&M?

In orientation and mobility, the organization that develops and distributes the standard textbooks and instructional materials used in training is the American Foundation for the Blind. They publish core O&M texts that cover cane travel, route planning, environmental scanning, traffic safety, and practical strategies for teaching travelers who are blind or visually impaired. This makes them the best choice for who creates textbooks for O&M. The other organization serves a different purpose: it focuses on credentialing and certifying O&M professionals rather than publishing the core textbooks. Another professional association provides journals and broader resources for the field, but not the primary textbooks used in O&M curricula. The space agency is unrelated to O&M education.
